Sara always wanted a deep blue sapphire necklace, but had to be one of a kind. This unique pendant features several colorful gemstones and the design wraps around her birthstone gem.

Jared wanted to surprise his wife with a unique necklace with their family's birthstones. This handcrafted pendant showcases each gemstone, but you will notice these are not traditional birthstone colors seen in typical family jewelry. The top gemstone is a natural color-changing garnet for their son's birth-month of January, the middle stone is a teal colored diamond for Megan's birth-month of April and the last is a blue sapphire for Jared's birth-month of September. Megan now enjoys her very unique and contemporary designed Family necklace.

• The color-changing garnet is a reddish-purple in indoor lighting and changes to a greenish-purple when exposed to outdoor lighting.

Michelle wanted to redesign her old wedding ring into a new fashionable ring. She had several other pieces of jewelry sitting around and decided to combine them all into the custom ring. Michelle was looking for something that you wouldn't just find in any jewelry store.

DESIGN NOTES

Two bands were handcrafted into a curved design and soldered together. A genuine blue sapphire gemstone was added as her son's birthstone and became the focal point of the new designed ring.

Gordon wanted to surprise his wife with a custom ring of their grandchildren's birthstones. Linda wears both yellow and white gold jewelry, so ideally her new ring would be two tone. The birthstones are all genuine gemstones and set in order to age.

Darlene was looking to custom design a ring that represented each member of her family. The center pear-shaped gemstones are her and her husband's birthstones, the 4 larger round gems are her children's birthstones and the 9 round gems are her grandchildren birthstones. All gemstones are genuine including the natural color-changing Alexandrite.

This heart design ring was designed by a husband as a 40th Anniversary gift to his wife. The Emerald represents their 40 years of marriage, the opal and aquamarine are the couple's birthstones and the diamond is in memory of their son. Monte wanted this ring to be very special so his wife would always remember him after he passed away from Cancer 9 months later. The story behind Ambrosia's jewelry is more valuable than the jewelry itself.

Leslie wanted to combine all of the rings that she inherited or has worn over the many years of her marriage. The original rings included (left to right) a a diamond ring inherited from her late mother, a black titanium band that each family member wears in memory of her youngest son, Leslie's original wedding ring, and a ring with her son' birthstones. DESIGN NOTES

This was a very special project, as this was for my art teacher in school who inspired me to become an artist. Leslie wanted an artistic and unique design to be incorporate with her black titanium ring. We removed the heart design from her original wedding ring and added it to the new design, while being cautious when setting the diamonds and gemstones as a few were chipped. The bezel settings provided extra protection to withstand Leslie's active lifestyle. She now wears this ring as her wedding ring as a symbol of her family.
